I will admit it---I am one of those crazy teachers! I am teaching summer school. As I sit here eating my less than appealing lunch that my 7 year old has packed for me----I began to think about next school year. How am I going to get the attention of the Instagram generation.
It has to be visual-- it has to be short.
I started my quest by looking on YouTube. In my exploration, I found variety of videos that are really worth taking a look at.

So I decided to try my hand at making a book trailer using Animoto. It was a breeze. The only issue I had was the free account limits you only 30 seconds per video. I know that this tool will be useful in making book trailers,

And the really exciting thing is that I learned that making QR codes is not an act of science...it is quite easy--- I am going to use this for voabulary and reviews in the Fall.
